But Payson has 4 mild seasons including a beautiful Autumn and several (usually small) snows each Winter. Payson is centrally located, close to the Phoenix Metro area, Northern Arizona, and various mountain lakes and recreational area. We here in Payson feel that it is the "heart" of the state.
